How bright is the Glow?
Brightness of the Glow for UV Light Reactive products depend on:
a) Brightness of the UV Black Lights There are many types of UV lights. However we find the 4 feet fluorescent type as the most effective for covering a room.
b) Proximity of the UV material to the UV Black lights The closer the lights are to the UV products, the brighter it will glow.
c) Brightness of the normal room lights Surrounding lights, tend to drown out the UV lights effectiveness. If the UV effects are to be seen in a bright room, you would need more UV black lights in order to get the same glow effects.
What are the practical uses for UV Light Reactive products?
The raw material comes in powder form. This makes it possible to mix the UV powder with other materials like paint, plastic, wax, glass and more… UV powder works well when mixed with any material that is clear or semi transparent.
UV Light Reactive powder is white in its normal state. So if it applied on surfaces that are white or light colored, they would be invisible. They would only be visible under a UV black light.
Due tho these unique characteristics, they are perfect for creating hidden markings, secret messages and even mind blowing murals which cannot be seen under normal light, but only visible when a UV Black light is switched on. They are also used in product identification, for theft prevention.
What is the lifespan for UV material?
The lifespan for the UV Reactive effect is more than 20 years. All it needs is exposure to UV Black lights and it will glow in the dark repeatedly. But once it is applied as a paint or additive in other materials, the lifespan depends on the natural wear and tear of the end product.
