Glow in the Dark Inks are meant for printing. At present, our products have been tested in 2 types of printing process - Silk Screen Printing and Offset printing. While the results were promising, we cannot offer an off the shelf product due to the varying printing requirements from job to job.
Silk Screen Printing Glow Ink
We have inks to suit most screen printing applications. However, these inks cannot not be sold pre-mixed. Reason is because once the powder is mixed into inks (especially the water based ones), the shelf life is drastically reduced.
For orders of screen printing inks, we need to know what you would be printing on first and the required ink quantity. We would supply you with your required amount of Clear screen printing ink, together with the correct amount of glow in the dark powder required for mixing into the ink. For example, if you ordered 1 litre of ink, we would supply 350 grams of glow powder. Everything would be pre-measured. Just add the powder into the ink and print as normal. |

You could also order the powder from us and mix it into your own Clear Silk Screen Printing Ink. Just take note of the powder particle mesh size when ordering. Mixing ratio is usually between 350 to 400 grams for each litre. Thin down if required.
Offset Printing Glow Ink
Mixing Glow Offset Inks is not as straightforward as silk screen printing as the pigments need to be milled and the mixing process requires the addition of other chemicals and agents. Our offset inks are pre-mixed and works with most presses. But again, this is not a guarantee.
While we have Pre-mixed Glow Paints for painting, making printing inks is not as simple due to the different specification from the printers and the varying requirements of each job. That is why we do not have any pre-mixed printing inks or samples to give out.
As such, if you have a project which requires glow in the dark printing, contact us and provide us with as much information as possible. Information that would help us in our decision woud be:
- Printing process (screen or offset)
- mesh size if screen printing
- Machine make and model if offset printing
- Material you are printing on (paper, plastic, etc)
